There is a common Christian saying and a song that says, “God is good, all the time.”  It has been nine years since Esther Nina went to be with Jesus.  Every year at this time, we remember God’s goodness to us.  During these nine years, He has blessed us more than we had dreamed.  Now we have three more girls in our house.

A few days after Esther’s birth and death, I heard of a Mayan woman who lost both of her twins and ended up having a hysterectomy.  I still remember her and pray for her even though I don’t know her name.  I know that the Lord loves this Mayan woman and me the same and it is only by God’s goodness that I was given the opportunity to have more children.

We find joy in His goodness to see Rebekah (5 y/o) and Zabdi (2 y/o) growing older, experiencing new things, learning about Jesus, praising His name, and praying to Him in their beds even when we’re not there (baby cameras are a wonderful thing).  We rejoice in Elizabeth (2 months old), the smell of her head, watching her sleep, cracking smiles, and learning to say “A-goo.”

”Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” -- Psalms 34:8 NKJV

“Give thanks to him; bless his name!
  For the LORD is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.” -- Psalms 100:4-5 ESV

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” --Ephesians 3:20-21

Ultimately, we can only give Glory to God for his perfect will.  We are so encouraged to hear our girls spontaneously burst in to song giving praise to His name.

When I Think about the Lord,
How He saved me, how He raised me,
How He filled me, with the Holy Ghost.
How He healed me, to the uttermost.

When I Think about the Lord,
How He picked me up and turned me around,
How He placed my feet on solid ground

It makes me wanna shout, Hallelujah, Thank you JESUS,
LORD, your worthy, of all the glory, and all the honor,
And all the praise...
